Spine Size
Creating Insert for Binder Spine

To use Easy Covers to create an insert for the spine of a binder, you must first select a binder capacity, using the 1", 1.5", 2", ect., buttons directly to the right of the Spine button.

Your printout for the spine will include cut lines to indicate where you are to trim the sheet to create a strip sized to fit into the spine overlay.

If you do not know the capacity of your binder, but do know the width of the strip you would like to create for the spine use the following chart.

Binder Capacity
The official way to measure rings in a binder is as follows:

  • Round rings are measured by the width, or diameter of the ring.
  • D-rings are measured by the length of the straight side.

Uploading Images, Logos and Photos
Click on Images tab. Then use the Upload Images button to browse and add an image from your computer.

Files must be a JPG and smaller than 500k (0.5mb).

Note: Color of an uploaded image cannot be changed in Easy Covers program.
